He has been member of the jury of FIAP international competitions and has participated in exhibitions and printed albums. Alexander Ivanov is the winner of international awards from competitions – medals and honorable mentions from Bulgaria, South Africa, Ecuador, Italy, Norway, Russia, Germany, Egypt, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, Belarus, USA, Macedonia, China. He is the awardee of the FIAP World Cup medal – Friendship and Solidarity 2014, of a distinction from the International Photo Salon Plovdiv, the Grand Prize at Photofiesta 2010, the audience award at Photovacation 2011, a gold medal for the best photo for the last 15 years at PhotoAcademika 2016, the Bulgarian Olympic Committee award at the Startphoto Sofia 2017 International Photo Salon. Medalist of Lumix 2008 Nature category and many more. Member of “Yanka Kyurkchieva” National Association Academy of Photography, Bulgaria. He was awarded the AFIAP distinction in 2018 and the EFIAP in 2021.
